In 2001, the Ministry of Public Works and Transport launched a 10 year program for the full rehabilitation of about 1000km of primary roads of Lebanon. Within the scope of this program, Kredo was commissioned with the full rehabilitation study of the primary connection:
SEC061 Nabatiyeh Abu Al Aswad Road 23.17 km
The study included the following tasks:
Road condition survey and analysis, Identification of optimal rehabilitation strategy, Topographical survey, Geotechnical investigations, Hydrological Survey, Environmental Impact Assessment, Traffic survey, Pavement Design, Review and Adjustment of road geometry and profiles, Structural Design of Retaining Walls and Hydraulic Structures, Preparation of Construction Drawings and Tender Documents, Construction cost estimate, Expropriation plans and documents, and Economic Analysis on HDM-4.
