Kredo

In 2007, the Council for Development & Reconstruction commissioned Kredo with the Supervision of the secondary connection:

SEC042           Joun -Zaitouniye Road                       14 km

SEC043           Saadiyat  – Ain El Hour Road             14.7 km

The tasks carried out by the Consultant consisted in Design reviews contract and project management and Supervision of the full reconstruction of the road connecting:  Es Saadiyat, Dahr El Mghara, Rzaniye, Aaqliye, El Qateaa, Herdaouch, Dibbiye, Bourjain and Ain El Hour.

Construction works included:

• Supervising the Contractors’ asphalt batching plant.
• Checking on the quality of hot mix on the bitumen content.
• Checking on compaction and thickness by taking off cores and carrying out lab tests.
• Supervising the laying of Base, Sub-base aggregate, and hot mix asphalt.
• Building of reinforced concrete retaining walls, Cyclopean walls, New Jersey Barriers, Guard Rails, Channels, Gutters, Manholes, and Box Culverts.
• Quantity surveying and payment certification to Contractors.
• Relocation of Telephone poles
• Relocation of L.V. & M.V. poles and cables
• Relocation of pipes
• Installation of pipe culverts
• Execution of Expropriation decree.
