In 2010, the Etablissement des Eaux de Beyrouth et du Mont Liban (EBML/BMLWE) commissioned Kredo with the evaluation of its fixed assets. The project was funded by the German International Cooperation Agency, GIZ, and consists of extensive site visits to the main facilities owned and operated by BMLWE, the review of inventory, condition assessment of existing infrastructure and plant, development of typical designs, calculation of replacement cost, and calculation of depreciation. The project covers all technical facilities of BMLWE namely: water treatment stations, wastewater treatment stations, pumping stations, wells, reservoirs, springs catchment, transmission pipelines, and distribution networks.
