The Lebanese Government is in the course of implementing a national plan of wastewater treatment plants construction. The sludges that will be produced by these plants have to be disposed of in the best economical and environmental ways. TECSULT/KREDO were commissioned to develop an alternative to the master plan with the objective of integrating the national plans for liquid and solid waste treatment. A legal, technical, and economical feasibility study was prepared for the co-composting of the sludges with the solid waste compost stream.
