Details:
Design of an overpass with two lanes of a 600m long prestressed concrete box Girder Bridge; 445m overpass section on piers and 155m ramps at both ends of the overpass, with 12 spans of 40-50m each. The purpose of the bridge is to connect traffic coming from Sin El-Fil directly to the Bauchrieh Highway or Sabtieh area.
The study included the following tasks:
Preliminary design including economic and environmental studies and final Detailed Engineering Design including topographical survey, geotechnical investigations, hydrological survey, traffic survey, design of prestressed concrete box girder, abutments, piers and concrete piling foundations, as well as tender documents preparation and expropriation files.
